Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What Do the Diplomas Offer Me?
The Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma provide university-level education, allowing students to earn 240 credits upon successful completion. These qualifications represent the first two years of a degree program. Afterward, students can progress to a final “Top-Up” year to complete their full degree.
What is the Cost of the Diplomas?
The Qualifi Level 7 Diplomas provide up to 120 credits towards a Master’s program. Students can further advance by completing a dissertation with select university partners, leading to the award of a Master’s Degree.
What is the Cost of the Diplomas?
The cost of the diplomas varies depending on the delivery model and your choice of study location. However, the fees are significantly lower compared to the cost of attending a university full-time for the same degree or master’s program.
How Can I Fund the Diploma?
There are several funding options available, depending on your eligibility:
a. Advanced Learner Loans – Available through government agencies.
b. Bank Loans – Can be used to cover the total cost of the diploma.
c. Spread the Payments – Some Qualifi centres offer payment plans with instalments.
d. Employer Contribution – Your employer may contribute as part of your career development plan.
Am I Guaranteed a Place at University?
Yes. Students are eligible to progress directly to university as the Diploma is credit-recognized. Additionally, one of our centres can assist with the transfer process to ensure a smooth transition.
Do I Need to Go to the Named Universities?
No. Qualifi collaborates with multiple universities. Students can choose their preferred university, and Qualifi will assist with the transfer process wherever possible.
Who Are the Trainers/Lecturers?
The delivery team consists of experienced professionals from within Higher Education. Centres that offer these qualifications must demonstrate their ability to support you through their qualified and skilled staff.
How Do We Contact the Trainers/Lecturers for Support?
Students can contact the delivery team via telephone, email, in person, or online. Qualifi is continuously improving its delivery options for centres, and an upcoming online learning platform will provide a forum for open discussions between students and the delivery team.
What Resources Do We Get?
All students receive workbooks and assessments to help them successfully navigate the course content. If additional reading materials are necessary, recommendations will be provided for any resources that need to be purchased.
What Are the Entry Requirements for the Diplomas?
Students must have the appropriate level of qualifications or relevant vocational experience. The specific requirements can be found in the course specifications and handbooks. Additionally, Qualifi offers an access course that provides an alternative entry route to the qualifications.
